The outdoor event is scheduled from 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM at Woodlawn Lake Park. This FREE, family-friendly day will celebrate the birth of our nation and honor our freedom!
Kick off the day with a free Water Aerobics Class presented by the San Antonio Parks & Recreation Department at the Woodlawn Lake Park Public Pool from 9 AM – 10 AM. Interested in becoming a lifeguard? There’s still time to join the team! City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department is offering up to $1,000 hiring incentive, paid training and will cover the cost for lifeguards becoming certified.
Per tradition, beginning at 11 AM through 9:30 PM there will be plenty of July Fourth fare, including local food trucks and vendors serving up hot BBQ, Burgers, Hot-Dogs, Tacos, Aguas Frescas, snow cones, and cold drinks galore! Carnival games will also be available for the duration of the event and patrons will enjoy live performances from the United States Air Force Band of the West and DJ Plata.
