The San Antonio Parks Foundation is paw-sitively thrilled to announce the return of Fest of Tails, a free, family- and dog-friendly festival celebrating pets, outdoor fun, and the city’s green spaces. Back by popular demand, Ghisallo Cycling’s adventure course returns, and attendees can enjoy dog-friendly activities, kite flying and interactive experiences for all ages.

Costume Contest: Onsite registration will be March 14th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Pooch Parade Table.

McAllister Park now offers an outdoor fitness station, funded by bond monies, where visitors of all ages can enjoy a fun, active workout while taking in the park’s natural beauty. This addition reflects the city’s commitment to creating health and wellness in accessible green spaces for the entire community.
Get ready to sham-rock the runway at the Fest of Tails Pooch Parade & Costume Contest! This year’s theme is St. Patrick’s Day, so dress your pup in their most festive green, lucky charms, leprechaun hats, rainbows, or pots of gold. Whether your furry friend goes full Irish flair or adds just a touch of sparkle, we can’t wait to see all the creative and spirited looks. Join us for a tail-wagging celebration filled with fun, prizes, and plenty of lucky smiles!
