Tamōx Talōm Food Forest Project at Padre County Park

The Tamōx Talōm Community Food Forest is a 4-acre space designed and maintained by the San Antonio Community. The Food Forest is a living park designed with the purpose of observing and preserving local climate and customs, and putting contemporary permaculture systems into practice. This urban agriculture pilot project helps provide a source of fresh local food, community resilience, environmental conservation, wellness, and connections to our flourishing community.

Project leaders are committed to community leadership, food sovereignty, and living co-creation with Southside residents. The San Antonio Parks Foundation is proud to support the Tamōx Talōm Food Forest Project at Padre County Park in partnership with the Food Policy Council of San Antonio through community engagement efforts, programming, and capital improvements facilitation.
