The San Antonio Parks Foundation and KRTU 91.7 FM Present the 2023 Fall Jazz In The Garden Series

The 2023 Jazz In The Garden Spring Concert Series in the historic Japanese Tea Garden features live jazz music near the gazebo overlooking the beautiful koi pond, waterfall and garden!

On Friday, September 8th, enjoy the sounds of enjoy the sounds of, The Bluprint, an instrumental R&B group with heavy jazz & funk influence. Formed in the summer of 2020, this seven-piece collective is directly inspired by the works of musical giants such as D’Angelo, Miles Davis, and Tower of Power – while also forming their own sound in the shape of modern day superstars Lucky Daye and Mac Ayres.

Members of the band hail from all over Texas, including San Antonio, Austin, and Houston. This melting pot of musicians captures the true spirit of Texas music with their through-composed, high-energy arrangements as well as their tight horn section grooves.

KRTU and SAPF members may enjoy the complimentary Member Experience 5:30-6:30 PM before the music kicks off at 6:30 PM sharp!

The event is all ages and open to the public with a $5 suggested donation at the door.

Limited seating is available for KRTU & SAPF members, and lawn chairs are permitted. Dogs on a leash are welcome. Food and beverages will be available for purchase beginning at 5:30 PM, please no outside food or drink.
